Beginning in 3rd grade, students will Explore God’s Story and develop relationships through the teaching model of small groups. Small Group Leaders are dedicated to caring for each student in the context of who God created them to be. In 3rd-6th youth group, students will:
Dig deeper into God’s story to see God’s faithfulness and see how God is still working out a plan and purpose today
Explore the Bible and see God’s work through imperfect people
Experience a variety of resources and learning activities, discussion, and serving opportunities.
Students will also be able to participate in:
Fall Camp - an annual event that allows us to focus intensely on spiritual concepts and cultivate deeper relationships with peers and Small Group Leaders.
Arts Camp - a summer event that allows students to reach out to their friends and invite those that would benefit from getting to know God in a creative space.
We meet each Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 pm, September through April. If you know a third through sixth grade student who would benefit from being in one of our small groups, or an adult who would love to mentor and create friendships with these students, get in touch with Chris Vredevoogd at chris@egm.org.
