We go out into our community and world to share the Good News as we bring justice to those in distress.

Jesus said to his followers, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”

That’s because our world is hurting. The news on any given day is full of stories about racism, human trafficking, domestic abuse, divorce, fatherlessness, homelessness and more. Darkness is all around us. But darkness is not the end of the story. God sent his Son to free us from all this brokenness. And he commissioned us, his Church, to be the light; to share this good news with those who are suffering.

Scripture tells us that, “What God the Father considers to be pure and genuine religion is this: to take care of orphans and widows in their suffering and to keep oneself from being corrupted by the world.” ~James 1:27

What would happen if a church embraced the biggest risk:
Taking God at his Word and living as if it’s true?

So, let us be about this: “Say no to wrong. Learn to do right; Seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; Plead the case of the widow.” ~Isaiah 1:17

MISSION:REACH has 4 focus points

The following are the 4 areas we have chosen to focus our outreach energy on as a church community based on God’s instructions and priorities and on our gifts and passions as a community. Also listed are the specific ministries that fall under each area:

Orphan & Foster Care

To provide an actual family or an experience of family as God designed it so kids who have been abandoned or removed from their homes can have safe places to live, learn, and be loved, and godly examples to model.

families

Single Parents
& Family Care

To reverse the growing trend of single parent families by strengthening marriages and coming alongside single parents to help them achieve stability, identity and purpose in Christ and follow God’s design for marriage and family.

mentoring

Mentoring

To “father the fatherless” by raising up mentors from within the church to reach, influence and transform at-risk kids through intentional, ongoing relationships.

anit-trafficking

City Connect

To influence our city for Christ by stepping into the lives of our actual neighbors and inviting them into our lives, and by building relationships through community events.
