The little ones are the future of our church.
We believe that it is important to discuss God’s story with them and encourage them to follow after God’s story. We believe that in working with parents these little ones will become passionate followers of Jesus.
BIRTH – 24 months
Nursery at EverGreen is a place where our children, birth to 12 months, feel safe and secure. Infants and toddlers are learning machines, growing by leaps and bounds, and in Nursery, we give them ways to experience the world around them through toys to touch and explore. Volunteers affirm our children with joy, interaction, and comfort.

2s & 3s
Children ages 2 through 3 are provided their own special time of learning during all Sunday morning worship services. 2s and 3s join with other children and adult leaders during the morning worship services. They sing songs about God, hear and learn Bible stories and learn about the world God has placed them in through playtime, crafts and activities during the morning worship services.

MINISTRY CALENDAR
4 to K
Children age 4 through Kindergarten meet during EverGreen’s morning worship services. There, children 4 years through Kindergarten are taught that the Bible is God’s book. It tells them about God, His promises, and the part they play in God’s story. They worship God through singing with motions and dance. Small group time is a place where leaders help them to understand and experience God’s love through activities, text memorization, and prayer time.

We use a curriculum called The Gospel Project that guides children through the entire Bible and how every part points to Jesus.
1st & 2nd
1st & 2nd grades meets during the sermon portion of EverGreen’s morning worship services. They will begin worship in the auditorium with their families. Listen for dismissal when their teachers will meet them at the back of the auditorium. In their classes, children in 1st & 2nd grade are taught that the Bible is God’s book. It tells them about God, His promises, and the part they play in God’s story.
