Cherry Street Health Services is a non-profit organization offering comprehensive health services to low-income children and families. They have multiple locations through out the Grand Rapids area. Uninsured fees are based on the ability to pay. They are a medicaid provider.

The health clinic offers free medical attention for minor injuries and illnesses. Patient must have an ID and no health insurance. The walk-in Clinic is open on Tuesday evening with registration from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Although appointments aren’t required, they are accepted by calling.
The Women’s Health Initiative is by appointment only. They offer free mammograms, pap tests, and health exams for women in post-childbearing years. Services are scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of each month. You must call first for eligibility and information.

Holland Community Health Center offers high-quality, culturally sensitive medical care for men, women, and children regardless of insurance status. Services included are care of acute and chronic childhood conditions as well as well child evaluation and immunization. They offer preventative, chronic, and episodic care for acute and chronic adult conditions. They also have an emphasis on women’s health concerns and issues. They are a medicaid provider. Uninsured fees are based on ability to pay. There is a $15 minimum fee but alternatives are available for those who may not be able to afford the fee.

InterCare offers health care for all. They accept all patients no matter what they can pay for a variety of medical services. They are a medicaid provider. Uninsured fees are based on ability to pay. There is a $20 minimum but alternatives may be available for those who are not able to afford the fee.

The Kent County Health Department offers many services to residents of Kent County including immunization and the Women, Infants. and Children program (WIC). They also offer Tuberculosis (TB) testing and personal health care services (testing, diagnosis, and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases).

The health department offers a variety of services including immunizations, vision and hearing screenings for children birth to pre-school, family planning services/contraception, sexually transmitted disease testing, and Maternal-Infant Health programs. Medicaid and Plan First! accepted with other fees based on ability to pay.
